WEEK 5: SPIDER MAN

Love of Learning: Love of was on of spider mans strengths because he seemed so interested in so many things. I say that because when he went to the museum he keep telling his friend about all that they were telling them. Also when he found out that he was some what of a spider he tryed to find out what everything he had did and how it worked.

Citizenship/ Duty/ Teamwork/Loyalty: Spider man has this strength because he helps the town when they need it. He helps the town because when there was a buring bilding he helped them get a baby out. Also he had team work with him self I think because he kida had two people in side of him that had to work to gether work his powers. 

Loving and Alowing Oneself to be loved: This was one of his strengths because he had some many people he love and loved him back. Like with his ant and uncle he loved they very much and you can teel because when that man that killed his uncle did that spider man or Peter went after him. Also he love teh girl taht was named M.J. even thow his friend went out with her.

Valor and Bravery: This was his another strength that he had because he was very brave when he went after the guy that killed his uncle. Also because he was able to tell M.J. that he lloved he but that he was only going to be friends with her. Another reson that he has this strength is because he went in to a buring bilding with no care in the world gust so he can help the baby get to safty.

WEEK 6: ASSIGNMENT: How much truth/How much spin?

Mark Foley is the Repersentative Formerly of Office of the Sixteenth Congressional District of florida. 

Scandal means a publcized incident that brings about disgrace or offends the moral sensibilities of society.

Capitol hill is located in washington d. c.. often people say “Capitol Hill” to mean Congress or the government

Tnoy snow is a very nown secretary . From 1991-1992 Tony Snow was George Bush’s speechwriter and media advisor. Press secretary is a senior White House official with rank’s one step below Presidential cabinet level. Their jobs are to get important information from the media in timely and accurate fation. Snow was George W. Bush secretary and befor he became secretary he was doing a syndicated radio show for Fox.

“Naughty” means Behaving disobediently or mischievously. When people hear or think of the word naughty they think of a little anthing or somebody runing around and doing bad things. Tony Snow is not happy with what Mark Foley had sent to teenage boys. He was displeased of the situation because he tells one of the spock men “And Soledad, I have three kids. I think it’s absolutely incumbent on members of Congress, many of whom have the charge of young pages, to make sure that these kids can come and get a good experience in Washington, not have to worry about the sort of things that have been alleged here.” - Tony Snow. This issue had happend in 2005. People from the congressman assured that he was only being a mentor and nothing inaproperet had happened.

Mark Foley e-mailed teenages to see if they were ok after Hurricane Katrina “that what he stated.” One of the reason that people are really looking in to this is because in one of the e-mails or several that it states that he told the teenage boys that “they were in great shape”, and he acted ” much older that he was.” - From Foley to the teenage boy. 

After they looked at the case a litile more they foued out that Mark Foley had a seceret Instant mesages screen name. It was “Maf54″ they say that he had bin instant messageing between him self and one of the teenage boy. On of the comments that he wrote to the teenage boy was to “STRIP DOWN.” But that was not that shocking and also said to him “I LOVE TO SLIP THEM OFF OF YOU” refering to the clothing that the teenage boy had on at that moment. I think that the most shocking thing that Foley said to the teenage boy was” DO I MAKE YOU A LITTLE HORNY?”- Foley. I think for that on statment or frast that he said he shold of not bin parte of the congress bord any more.!! 

I think that Snow was trying to tell people that there are so many things that people should know about but its keeped from them. also that it is not right to know that a mae that is sopse to help us or make us feel safe still has people saying that he is a good man even after what they have hear of what he has done. http://www.alaskareport.com/wn10155.htm

I think that the it was not fair that a congress man can get away with such a thing like this but if it was someone else that was not in congress they will put them in jail instanly. I think that he was trying to get other people to think that he did not do anthing bad. Also they were trying to make people think that they were not doing anthing bad and so the congress people would not think anything bad about them. By them trying to cover up for Foley they mad them self look evny weser because they want us to think that they did not do anything bad by them saying that there are buigger issue to be wereing abut them this one. That maks people want tom look more into that issue. 

WEEK 5 ASSIGNMENT 1:

1. PROPAGANDA- is a specific type of message presentation directly aimed at influencing the opinions of people, rather than impartially providing information.
2. CATAPULT-A military machine for hurling missiles, such as large stones or spears, used in ancient and medieval times.
3. So I think what he ment by this was that he was going to do anything to his power so he wont and will not say the trueth.
4. The enemy to George W. Bush is anybody that wants to go agenst him.

week 3 :assinment #3: Precious and Her Hair

Hpoe was one of Precious’s core strengths and the main one that showed during this story. It was one of her core strengths because she was always thinking that if she were to something new to herself that some thing good or bab was going to happen to her. i think taht that was the only main core strength that showed in this story.There were alot of strengths that were not used in this story. I think that by precious not useing this strengths it made her life much more unhappy. I think that it made her life unhappy because if she would of used one of the other strengths she would of found out that it is not right to change for a guy that u like even if u like him alot. I think that she became a little open-mindedness from all that she had gone through just for her wanting a guy to like her and that made her change her mind about her anything to change for a guy.i think that precious lived the life that she was keeping her self happy with her hopes thatNeville the guy that she liked would one day like her in the same way she liked him. If I was a counselor using the knowlege of positive psychology I would tell Precious that she is going to be more atractive to the guy that she likes if she acts her self also it dose not really mater if she has long hair or her hair is falling out aslong as sheknows hao to talk to people then she wil have alot of guys that she wants. I think that my strengths are similar because we all have that one sight of us that is always have hope in there life. Our strenghts are different because I dont think that I would want to change for a guy.

1. Is it accurate?  I dont think that is was fully accurate.
2. How are you similar to or different from your typological group? Im similar to my typological group because I know that if I try my hardest then I can do anything i sent my to. Im different from my typological group because I would never go for Bush. “ I MEAN NEVER!”
3. What issuse are most important to you, and are issues you would consider in voting for a candidate or on a law? Issuse that are important to me is immagration and how it is not fair that they come to the U.S. to make a better life for them selfs and there familys. It not that they come and take peoples job, “come on I dont think that people from hear would want to be in the feild picking what wever.”

WEEK 1: ASSIGNMENT #7:

             The bolg that i chose is called “Veiled4allah. This blog is mostly about Muslim. It talks about the people and how the men have alot of power. It also talks about how there Religon is trying to strangthen contact between all the religons. Some of it is about how the women have to go though alot of strugals. Another subject that they talk about is how the Americas have a lot of thoughts of living around Muslim people. The last thing that they talk about is how there god wants to stop all the violece and bring happyness to there people.

WEEK 1: ASSIGNMENT 6: Clyde Tombaugh:

              Clyde Tombaugh was born1906 in Streator, Illinois. In 1922 his family and him self moved to a farm near Burbett. He was introdused to Astronomy by his fater and uncle. January 17,1997 was when Tombaugh discovered the Pluto. Tombaugh is famous for his dicovery also for all he put in to the filds of astronomy at the age of 90. People also emiered Tombaugh for the great inspiration for future Astronomers. The last news about his great discovery was if Pluto was a planet or not. Sadly on Friday, January 17, 1997 Clyed tombaugh died in his home in Las Cruces, New Mexico at the age of 90.
